The Noon Experience
Hello everybody and hi to all the People at noon laboratory, this section is dedicated to the people I worked with at noon lab as a
part of my GNVQ course.
I was assigned to undergo work experience in a science environment since my course was also science based.
The first time I arrived at the lab, met with Ann and Naveed and I was quiet afraid and did not know what to do and how to present
myself, so I stayed quiet and went along with what Ann was saying.
For the first two days I was put in the chemistry lab and did nothing but write as Anil told me, he didn't let me do any work, and got
bored.
He explained things ver "scientifically" and thought of himself as the all knowing (about chemistry that is).
Anil was bossy, and in that time I got to know Parminder and Magda but unfortunately two days were not enough to get comfortable
with them two, and was moved downstairs in the Microbilogy lab to do those damn MRD bottles for three days straight, and in those
three days I only got to know Zainab and Satnam (bainjee)
and some times Naveed popped in and out.
in the one week that I worked I only got to know wo little people, and for some reason I was still uncomfortable with all the people
around me.
After the week passed I started going there only on fridays (didn't miss a day) on the second week of my work experience I was also
pulled out of the "MRD" room and put into the "SPREADING" room where I started writin plates and met Shaun for the first time as
he also was writing plates with me, and through talking to him about games I also started to talkj to Ross and Clinton, but it was not
long before he moved back to Australia.
I stareted feeling a little better and comfortable about working and being their, I got to know everybody, and befreinded everybody.
The days passed and the end of my work experience neared..........................................
